Blog Review/Critique #5

headerb.jpg

Today we are taking a look at  dharmadesigns .   Right off the bat…you will notice the great looking banner.  also they have done a great job promoting other Etsy artists.. check out the article on dennisanderson .  This is also the first blog in the review with a Project Wonderful add space.  Projectwonderful  is a great way to add a little income and traffic to your blog for FREE.

Critique:  Once again with the labels…Labels are not the same as tags.  They are only used in side your blog to label your posts.  You can add the page element called “labels”  and allow your readers to search your blog for things they want to read.  Second:  i would move your BlogRush up the page.  This will allow readers to find it better and possibly sing up under you.  Take a look at where my blogrush is located…. look here .

Have a look at dharmadesigns Etsy shop…. Click Here

If you would like to have your blog featured and reviewed please have a look at this blog dharmadesigns and leave a comment here or there.

thanks,

Timothy

  1. Once again Timothy some great tips and pointers. The Project Wonderful advertising looks interesting and I will certainly check it out. Labels…definitely something I have to remember! Ha! after every critique I run off madly to fix things on my blog!!! Many thanks for what you are doing.

  2. I love the colors in the background. Their soft. I used to always have a black background for just about everything I did online. Its the easiest way to make the site look clean but it can be so boring.

  3. Very helpful tips. I just imported my blog posts from blogger to wordpress recently. I really like the way it looks now. Very good advice about the labels. There are so many things to learn and work out.
